Why Original Note Exists
Throughout my career — from responding to 999 calls in Southwark to commanding armed firearms operations and handling covert intelligence on serious and organised crime groups — one thing was constant: the quality of documentation determined the outcome.
A poorly-written use of force report loses a misconduct hearing. A well-documented ejection protects a door supervisor's SIA licence. A timestamped, contemporaneous record ends a false complaint before it starts. I've seen both sides.
