Built by Someone Who Has Been There

Original Note was created by a former Metropolitan Police officer with 14 years of frontline experience — including armed response, covert surveillance, and intelligence work on serious and organised crime. He has written more incident reports than he can count, and he knows exactly what makes one stand up — and what makes one fall apart.

Why Original Note Exists

Throughout my career — from responding to 999 calls in Southwark to commanding armed firearms operations and handling covert intelligence on serious and organised crime groups — one thing was constant: the quality of documentation determined the outcome.

A poorly-written use of force report loses a misconduct hearing. A well-documented ejection protects a door supervisor's SIA licence. A timestamped, contemporaneous record ends a false complaint before it starts. I've seen both sides.

When I left the police, I saw that security professionals — door supervisors, event security teams, corporate security managers — were still documenting incidents the way officers did in the 1990s. Notebooks. Voice memos. Typed-up hours later from memory.

I built Original Note to change that. Tamper-proof, contemporaneous, GPS-stamped, court-ready — the standard your documentation deserves.

What This Means for Your Documentation

Designed Around Real Standards

The 5-part statement framework in our AI Quality Check is the same framework used by police. It's not theoretical — it's what investigators and courts actually look for.

Built for Legal Scrutiny

Cryptographic proof, server-side timestamps, and GPS locking weren't afterthoughts — they were the starting point. Because I know what defence barristers look for when they want to discredit a record.

Speaks Your Language

No watered-down corporate tone. Original Note is built for professionals who work in high-risk environments, make split-second decisions, and need their paperwork to reflect that professionalism.
